Morning becomes Eclectic

Morning becomes Eclectic is one of the best Eclectic music shows around. Airing from our very own Santa Monica area, Nic Harcourt brings us music from everywhere imaginable. The show is one of the gems of KCRW, the NPR affiliate here in SoCal. But the best part of Morning becomes Eclectic is their live performances. KCRW is nice enough to host audio and video of these live performances on their website. Sometimes, the un-signed bands even get their set podcasted. But in the recent month, Morning becomes Eclectic has a great line-up of some of Wang’s favorites. Perfomances by The Like, The White Stripes, The New Pornographers, David Gray, and The Morning After Girls. Not to mention many new ppl that the Wang is still listening to and exploring. So after listening to the show on ur morning drive, u can check out the live performances at ur office. Or for those of u that exist outside of SoCal, I guess u can take full adventage of the interweb and stream some music.

Also bonus of note, the Morning Becomes Eclectic Sound stages is awesomely tuned/balanced. I find listening to their live shows like listening to a CD. Great mix of audio levels, nice drums and vocal balance. Good stuff over all. Also u get to watch these artist in the morning in mostly a sloppy morning look. Which really works with some of these girl bands.

Plus I got to hear that Tennessee from the Like, speaks with a cute girly British accent.
